Miguel Sousa

Biography: 

Miguel Sousa is a PhD student at Future-Shape under the supervision of Dr. Axel Techmer. He obtained his M.Sc. degree in Industrial Electronics and Computers Engineering from University of Minho, Portugal, in 2011, specializing in cognitive robotics and embedded systems.  He is currently involved in the iCareNet project as a Marie Curie research fellow. His research focuses on pervasive sensing and activity monitoring in ambient assisted living applications.
